Workshop Aims

Practical down-to-earth tuition

The aim of this practical one-day workshop is to provide a basic working knowledge of Statutory Paternity Pay (SPP), Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP), maternity leave and other rights, and Statutory Sick Pay (SSP). The workshop is supported by a variety of realistic examples and exercises

Although many employers have computer systems that handle much of the work in processing SMP, SAP, SPP, and SSP, there are many factors that must be considered to ensure full compliance and assist employees with their questions.

Step-by-step approach

Throughout the day, the tutor follows a step-by-step approach to learning, providing careful explanations, with a mixture of example and practice.

This workshop has been fully updated to cover the new average earnings rules.
